Kayla Garner, DO, has always been drawn to work that combines science, service, and human connection. Obstetrics and gynecology offered her the perfect intersection of these aspects. She supports patients through some of the most meaningful—and often vulnerable—moments in their lives. 

Dr. Garner has received comprehensive training in the full spectrum of women’s health. This includes preventative gynecologic care, contraception and family planning, obstetric and postpartum care, menstrual disorders, menopause, and gynecologic surgery. She emphasizes minimally invasive options including vaginal, laparoscopic and the DaVinci Robotic system.

Dr. Garner's approach to patient care is built on empathy, education, and shared decision-making. She strives to create a welcoming and judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, informed, and empowered to take an active role in their care. “I want my patients to feel safe, respected, and understood. Whether the visit is routine or emotionally charged, I aim to focus on clear communication and building trust to ensure they leave with their questions answered and a plan that makes sense for their lives,” she says.

Outside of work, Dr. Garner enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog. She loves being outdoors and exploring local restaurants. She is passionate about reproductive justice, health equity, and improving access to care for underserved communities.
