Sai Krishnaraya Doppalapudi, MD, is a dedicated professional in the field of Urology. He chose this path to make a positive impact on the lives of many in a direct and tangible way. He finds it fulfilling to correct urinary tract issues in the most innovative and thoughtful ways. He is passionate about continuing innovation in robotics for both benign urology and urologic oncology.

Dr. Doppalapudi treats a wide variety of urologic issues from kidney stones, to benign prostatic hyperplasia, to urologic cancers. He has a special interest in robotics and is fellowship trained in robotic urologic surgery. He believes in patient education and empathy as key to good patient care. He says, “By providing the patient with all the information regarding his or her urologic issue, I believe the patient and I can jointly make an informed decision regarding optimal next steps.”

The most important aspect of each patient visit for Dr. Doppalapudi is to ensure patient understanding of the source of their issues and all possible outcomes. He enjoys the fact that interventions he performs, whether it is conservative management, medications, or surgery, can have a direct positive impact on patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Doppalapudi is a big sports fan. He enjoys tennis, basketball, baseball, and football. He also loves spending time with his wife and going on long walks at local parks.
