David Ambinder, MD, is a dedicated Urologist who appreciates the unique opportunity that a career in healthcare provides to continuously improve people's lives. Dr. Ambinder's area of expertise is in general urology, including benign prostate disease, kidney stones, sexual and urinary dysfunction for both males and females, , genitourinary oncology and reconstruction. He specializes in advanced robotic and minimally invasive approaches for both benign and malignant conditions including Percutaneous nephrolithotomy and single port robotic surgery.

Dr. Ambinder's approach to patient care is to consider the patient above all else. He believes in a holistic framework where the best and ideal treatment is offered to improve the patient's life. During a patient visit, it is important for him to understand the patient's background, their current situation, and what would be best for them going forward. This is achieved through active listening and being fully present while with the patient.

"I enjoy everything about my work, but there is no greater satisfaction than knowing that you have made someone's life better," Dr. Ambinder says. He is especially passionate about improving the quality of life for patients with malignancies by improving surgical techniques and creating more minimally invasive approaches to reduce the morbidity associated with surgical therapy.

Outside of his work, Dr. Ambinder enjoys spending time with his wonderful family. He also plays hockey and tennis and coaches many of his kids' teams.
