Mehuli Upadhyaya, MD, has always been drawn to a career where she could make a lasting difference in people's lives. She values the connection with her patients — taking the time to listen and working together toward their health and wellness goals. These relationships inspired her to pursue primary care.

Dr. Upadhyaya recently completed her Internal Medicine residency and now focuses on adult primary care. She cares for patients with a wide range of health needs, from preventive care and routine checkups to managing chronic conditions. What she enjoys most is partnering with patients over time, helping them take small steps that build into long-term wellness. She also deeply cares about supporting mental health, both for patients and within the medical community.

She believes every patient deserves to feel heard and understood. "I try to focus on prevention, encourage patients with the little wins along the way, and make sure they always feel supported. Being a primary care physician means helping people create a lifetime of health, and I strive every day to be the best I can for my patients," says Dr. Upadhyaya.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Upadhyaya enjoys spending time with her family, reading, practicing Pilates, and exploring new ways to stay active. She also loves caring for her two rescue pets from the island of St. Maarten, where she attended medical school.
