Rukhsar Asef, NCCPA, is passionate about the mind-body connection and always knew she wanted a career rooted in service. Medicine gave her the chance to understand how the body works, how to heal it, and how to use that knowledge to care for others—especially within her own community.

Ms. Asef specializes in Urgent Care and Primary Care, treating patients of all ages—from toddlers to older adults. She handles sudden concerns like viral infections, minor injuries, and skin conditions, as well as chronic illnesses such as hypertension and diabetes. She meets patients where they are and provides efficient, evidence-based treatment with compassion and clarity.

Her approach to patient care is rooted in listening first and treating patients holistically—not just their symptoms. She integrates principles of holistic medicine, considering physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors that impact health. "Patients know their bodies best, and when we take the time to truly listen and collaborate, we can create sustainable, individualized care plans that support long-term wellness. My goal is always to make patients feel heard, respected, and empowered," she says.

Outside of work, Ms. Asef is passionate about skincare, beauty, and wellness. She enjoys creating content that blends medical knowledge with real-life tips—whether it's about medicine or building confidence. She's also a big fan of writing, fashion, and spending time with her loved ones. She is especially passionate about health equity and access to care, particularly for women and underserved communities.
