Brooke Goonetilleke, OD, is a member of Íøºì³Ô¹Ï's Ophthalmology team. She has always had a deep interest in and passion for biological sciences and public health. Dr. Goonetilleke provides full scope comprehensive eye care, which includes routine annual eye exams with contacts and medical eye exams for all ages 6 and up. This often includes the diagnosis, treatment, and management of refractive error, dry eye disease, hypertensive & diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, and glaucoma.

Dr. Goonetilleke is committed to understanding patients’ visual needs. "I believe in preventative care, and I strive to help patients achieve their best and most comfortable vision while keeping their overall health in mind," she says. Patient education is the most important aspect of her exams. It is important to her that patients understand their conditions.

"I enjoy the fact that my profession allows me to help improve an individual's quality of life by improving their vision/sight," Dr. Goonetilleke says. She continues to apply herself to become an expert in myopia management and specialty contact lenses.

Outside of work, Dr. Goonetilleke enjoys traveling abroad, baking, running, and spending time with her loved ones. She is especially passionate about healthcare disparity and health education.
