Linda Strand, MSN, FNP-C, is a member of the Íøºì³Ô¹Ï’s Hospital Medicine team. Growing up, Linda witnessed the physical limitations her father lived with due to polio. This experience shaped her understanding of illnesses as part of life and inspired her to help others with their medical challenges.

As a hospitalist, Linda specializes in treating adult patients in acute care and subacute facilities. She believes in providing compassionate care, recognizing that each person has their unique strengths and challenges. Her approach to patient care revolves around listening to patients and their families, a practice she considers vital to providing care and gaining trust.

Linda finds joy in the daily challenges and rewards of her work as a provider. She says, "Every day presents new challenges and rewards. Collaborating as a team member makes each day different and fulfilling."

Outside of work, Linda has a variety of interests. She enjoys traveling, knitting, and boating. Spending quality time with her husband, three adult children, and dog Milo is a favorite pastime. Linda is a committed Jets fan, regularly attending games with her family. Additionally, she is passionate about animal adoption, advocating for the cause in her spare time.
