Terri Nicely, MD is a member of ����Թ�'s Behavioral Health team. Specializing in psychopharmacology and behavioral therapies, Dr. Nicely focuses on managing various health conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, OCD, and impulse control disorders for children and adolescents.

Dr. Nicely believes in building rapport with her patients and their families and engaging in shared decision-making. What she enjoys most about her work is providing a safe space for children and adolescents to understand themselves better, and the satisfaction of seeing them improve with proper care and medications. Her goal is that early interventions will change the course of disease and its effect on patients’ lives.

As much as she acknowledges the significant role of medication in attending to mental health concerns, Dr. Nicely believes in a more holistic approach. She spends ample time understanding the various factors affecting her patients - be it medical, academic, social, or environmental. The goal: formulating a comprehensive plan to improve their overall functioning. “Less is more” is her guiding principle when prescribing medication for her patients, always striving to prescribe the least amount necessary for the desired outcome.

Away from her practice, Dr. Nicely keeps herself busy with various activities. She loves hiking, spending quality time with her husband and rescue dog, learning Italian, cooking, and travel. She is a voracious reader and enjoys listening to podcasts. Her passion extends beyond her profession as she strongly advocates for health equity.
