Chelsea Lauro, DO, is a dedicated provider in the field of Family Medicine. She chose a career in healthcare to combine her love of science with her passion for connecting with people. It gives her the privilege of building meaningful relationships while continuing to learn every day.

Dr. Lauro provides comprehensive family medicine care for patients of all ages and backgrounds, from children to older adults. She has a special interest in women’s health, supporting patients with a range of women’s health concerns and performing select procedures to help meet their needs. She says, "My approach to patient care is very patient-centered and collaborative. I like to work with patients as a team to understand their concerns, explore their options, and develop a treatment plan that they feel comfortable and confident with."

During a visit, Dr. Lauro believes it's most important that her patients feel heard and understood, and that they make the most of their time together to make meaningful progress on their health and wellness goals. She enjoys the challenge and satisfaction of piecing together complex health issues and finding solutions that truly help her patients. "Supporting them and witnessing their progress is deeply rewarding and keeps me motivated every day," she adds.

When she's not in the office, Dr. Lauro enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with her family, trying out new restaurants, and karaoke. She is passionate about reproductive health access, preventative care, and patient education.
