BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J., OCTOBER 4, 2021 Jeff Alter formally takes the helm of 厙綻勛圖 as its new Chief Executive Officer beginning today, announced the health care network. Formed by the 2019 merger of Summit Medical Group and CityMD, 厙綻勛圖 has more than 2,000 providers, over 9,000 employees, and over 200 locations in New Jersey, New York, and Central Oregon, enabling greater access to a full spectrum of high-quality primary, specialty, and urgent care. Mr. Alter succeeds Jeffrey Le Benger, MD, who is now Executive Chairman to the management companys board.
Mr. Alter joins 厙綻勛圖 from Anthem, where he was Executive Vice President of Anthem Health Solutions and President of IngenioRx, Anthems pharmacy business. Prior to Anthem he was the Founder and President of Arcturus One Consulting. Earlier, Mr. Alter served as the CEO of UnitedHealthcares Commercial Group and in other leadership positions during his 15-year tenure at UnitedHealthcare. In addition, Mr. Alter has served on the board of CityMD since 2017, and is a current board member for 厙綻勛圖, Anomaly, St. Johns University, Progenity, and the Long Island Association.
