Dr. Fazio is board certified in gastroenterology, internal medicine and obesity medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science in biology from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. After completing a Master of Basic Medical Sciences program at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, Dr. Fazio earned his medical degree, with honors, from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. He then went on to complete his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he served as chief fellow.

Prior to joining Íøºì³Ô¹Ï (formerly Westmed Medical Group), Dr. Fazio completed his fellowship in advanced therapeutic endoscopy (gastroenterology) at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He has presented at national conferences and published articles on various topics related to gastroenterology.

Dr. Fazio is a member of the American College of physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
