Salvador Gonzalez, PA-C, brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to compassionate care to ����Թ�’s Orthopedic Surgery team. His journey in healthcare began at the age of 18, when he served as a hospital corpsman in the United States Navy. He provided care to service members and their families in the Navy and Marines—a role that shaped his enduring dedication to service and patient well-being.

Before transitioning to orthopedic surgery, Mr. Gonzalez spent 15 years in Hospitalist Medicine at various medical centers, including ongoing delivery at Montefiore Medical Center. He manages a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, develops treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, and oversees patient admissions and discharges. Serving this diverse ethnic and socio-economic background informs his holistic, patient-first approach to surgical care today.

Known for his respectful manner, Mr. Gonzalez cares for every patient empathetically. “I treat every patient with the same level of respect and compassion that I would my own family,” he says. He strives to be attentive, thorough, and present during every interaction, aiming to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives during their most vulnerable moments.

Beyond his clinical work, Mr. Gonzalez enjoys an active lifestyle with his family and community. He coaches his daughter’s softball team, lifts weights, plays golf, and watches football with friends. He is also deeply passionate about Mental Health Awareness and advocates for mental health needs within his community.
