Adele Shenoy, MD, is a member of Íøºì³Ô¹Ï’s Dermatology team. Growing up, Dr. Shenoy was inspired by her mother, a primary care physician, and the impact she had on her patients' lives. This experience instilled in her a deep desire to pursue a career in healthcare and make a similar impact.

Dr. Shenoy loves all aspects of medical dermatology, from simple and common issues like warts to more complex issues like severe atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and hidradenitis. She also enjoys surgical and cosmetic procedures. Dr. Shenoy believes in getting to know each patient, their goals, and their barriers to reaching those goals. She takes an individualized approach to patient care while practicing evidence-based medicine. "A huge part of medicine is partnering and advocating for patients, and I am honored to have the opportunity to do so," she says.

During a patient visit, Dr. Shenoy cares deeply about understanding how their dermatologic conditions impact their lives. She strives to understand their goals for care and any barriers they may have to reaching them. What she enjoys most about her work is having a significant impact on patients’ quality of life. "I chose dermatology because it is an extremely visible field – patients often cannot hide their dermatologic conditions. This creates a psychological burden that can be greatly alleviated with treatment. Having a role in that transition means so much to me," Dr. Shenoy shares.

When she is not treating patients, Dr. Shenoy enjoys Peloton, travel, and exploring restaurants. She is especially passionate about skin of color and women’s health.
