Angela A. Corporan, WHNP Board Certified MSN, is a member of ����Թ�’s Obstetrics and Gynecology team. With almost 20 years of experience as a registered nurse, her expertise focuses on the lifespan of a reproductive woman, from puberty to postmenopause. She provides care for a wide range of diagnosed and undiagnosed gynecological problems that are acute or chronic, cancer screening, STI treatment, and care of the menopausal mature woman. Additionally, she provides care to low and high-risk obstetrical pregnant women.

Mrs. Corporan pursued a career in healthcare to serve as a nurse educator and to help her patients navigate the challenges they may encounter from the healthcare system. Her goal is to provide the gold standard of care that focuses on patient-centered outcomes with patient/provider shared decision making. Establishing trust and building a rapport is very important to her when caring for patients.

“The most important part of a visit is allowing the patient's concerns to be heard and addressing their needs,” she says. “My main goal is to focus on the initial complaint or the most concerning issue the patient has, perform an assessment, develop a positive outcome-centered plan, and re-evaluate at the appropriate timeframe.”

Outside of work, Mrs. Corporan enjoys long walks, listening to music, traveling to warm tropical islands, and making homemade dishes for her family. She loves the holiday season and enjoys spending time with family, friends, shopping, and attending Broadway shows in NYC.
