Yihong Cheng, MD, is a member of ����Թ�’s Internal Medicine team. Dr. Cheng has always been fascinated with the workings of the human body and finds joy in helping people with their illnesses and keeping them healthy. As a primary care provider, he has experience and has been trained to help adult patients with common ailments such as hypertension and diabetes. 

Dr. Cheng believes in the importance of taking time to listen carefully to his patients. “It is important to me that my patients feel they can trust me and that I care about them and their concerns,” he says.

In his practice, Dr. Cheng enjoys the human-to-human interaction and the potential to promote other people's well beings. He is also passionate about preventive care. “Disease prevention is key to avoiding personal suffering and lowering our country's health care spending,” he notes. 

When he is not in the office, Dr. Cheng enjoys traveling, playing board games, and astronomy.
