Mindi Urena, APN, is a member of ����Թ�’s Internal Medicine team. Mrs. Urena completed her Master of Science in Nursing in Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from Fairleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. She pursued a career in healthcare because she wanted to help people and provide them with the best possible care.

Mrs. Urena’s area of expertise is primary care. She has also worked as a surgical nurse and nurse practitioner in urology. Her approach to patient care is to “treat everyone like you'd want your family to be treated.”

During a patient visit, it is important to Mrs. Urena that her patients feel heard and cared for. She enjoys helping them in their times of need as well as routine annual wellness check-ups. Mrs. Urena enjoys creating a long-term patient-provider relationship and takes the time to get to know each person who comes in for a visit.

When she is not treating patients, Mrs. Urena enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs. She also likes trying new foods and exploring places with beautiful scenery.
