About Andrew P. Francella, MD
Dr. Francella is a board certified internist and gastroenterologist with broad clinical experience in general gastroenterology disorders. He received his Bachelor of Science in biology from the State University of New York College at Oswego. Dr. Francella then went on to earn his medical degree from The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at The Mount Sinai Medical Center.
His areas of special interest include colon cancer screening and reflux and inflammatory bowel disease. He joined Westmed Medical Group, which is now Íøºì³Ô¹Ï, in June 2002 and is on the staff of White Plains Hospital and Greenwich Hospital. Dr. Francella is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Gastroenterological Association, The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America and other professional medical groups.
Dr. Francella was born in Westchester County and is a long-time resident. He enjoys collecting patent medicine bottles, antique phonographs and radios, and artwork.
